With the Swivel Lifting Eye, precast concrete units can be safely lifted utilising lifting points in their sides. Units can also be safely tilted from the horizontal to the vertical plane and vice versa. The pressure plate with its large cross sectional area generates an even distribution of pressure over a large surface area of concrete. The Swivel Lifting Eye’s special swivelling component automatically adapts to the direction of the inclined lifting forces. The safe working load of the Swivel Lifting Eye is valid for lifts along the axis of the thread through to lifts perpendicular to its axis.
Utility anchors are designed for reinforced or unreinforced concrete units, especially for decking, pipes, and culverts; or any application where a construction site can benefit from an approved and tested precast concrete lifting anchor, a multipurpose anchor for lifting and tilting precast concrete. No particular lifting shackles are required as they allow the direct connection of the crane hook to the prefabricated unit. These anchors can be used in axial and shear applications without additional reinforcement.
Utility Anchor Recess Former are essential for the safe and efficient handling of precast concrete elements. They help to ensure that the lifting anchors are properly positioned and secured, which reduces the risk of accidents during lifting and transportation.
We offer a number of high-quality recess formers for use with our utility, erection, general purpose and dog bone anchors and recess former accessory holding plates and stud plates with wing nuts for erection anchors and dog bones.
Wire Rope Lifting Loop For Precast Concrete Elements is a lifting tool for precast concrete elements, widely used in the construction and precast industries during transportation and installation. Made of high-strength steel wire rope, usually galvanized for corrosion resistance and durability. The wire rope is fixed by a steel crimping sleeve to ensure a secure connection. A wide range of load capacities, from 0.5 tons to 12.5 tons. Different models of lifting loops are suitable for precast concrete elements of different weights.
The Threaded Socket System is available in a wide variety of specially designed sockets to suit all types of different applications. It also offers a wide range of lifting capacities from 500kg up to 12500kg. Our sockets are supplied in standard BZP, or a stainless steel finish on request.
Wire Rope Lifting Loops are a cost effective method of lifting most types of pre-cast concrete units suitable for all types of threaded lifting inserts.
Our wire rope threaded lifting loops are manufactured from high specification wire swaged onto a steel ferrule, providing a strong and reliable lifting device that can be re-used, subject to being checked for damage prior to each lift All loops are clearly marked with the manufactures details, the SWL and an individual serial number to comply with regulations .
Supplied from stock in both M and Rd thread types from M12 to Rd52.
The erection anchor is designed for use with precast units during the lifting and turning/edge handling process. If desired, the anchor uses a shear plate and tension bar that wraps through the anchor to distribute the load in the concrete. Erection anchors allow the lifting of columns, beams, walls, and other precast concrete elements. The mounting anchors can be used in all lifting directions and for lifting angles up to 90 degrees. LSC has various styles of erection anchors. The style, size, and tonnage of the installation anchor are the same as ALP, but our price is more than half cheaper than ALP. We only accept wholesale, not retail. If you are interested.
The recess formers are used for easy attachment to the formwork. The rubber recess formed in the open position will be put over the anchor head. Closing the rubber recess former will fix the anchor tightly. Afterward, the recess former can be fixed to the formwork together with the anchor. Using these magnetic groove members eliminates the need to drill holes in the formwork to install screws or weld plates to the formwork. This magnetic-based process can significantly reduce form setup time and form reconfigurability, improving process efficiency and reducing production costs. The recess former is constant in shape even when heated up to 120℃ or in contact with oil. It can be used several times. To ease the identification of the load group, the formers are produced in different colors.
Brief Description of Precast Concrete Lifting Anchors:
Lifting Anchors, Clutches and accessories make lifting concrete components easy, efficient, and safer during transportation, rigging, and lifting of precast concrete elements.
The Lifting Anchors system utilizes a fully engineered approach combining cast-in lifting anchors, recess formers, and custom-fitting lifting clutches. Using the Lifting Anchors system results in fewer failures, saving time and costs due to damage or construction delays.
Lifting Anchor is the most versatile and widely used anchor in the Lifting Anchor range. Available in a wide range of Working Load Limits (WLL), all Lifting Anchor comply with AS 3850.1:2015.
LSC Rubber Recess Former can be used multiple times. The load mark on the former is easy for identification of the load group. Different color also can be provided. A permanent thread stud with one wing nut to tighten against the form to hold the former securely.
