No particular lifting shackles are required as they allow the direct connection of the crane hook to the prefabricated unit. These anchors can be used in axial and shear applications without additional reinforcement.

With the rapid development of building industrialization, the safety of lifting and transportation of precast concrete components has become the core of construction efficiency. Utility Anchor Lifting Anchors have become the preferred solution in the global engineering field due to their excellent load-bearing performance, flexible application scenarios and compliance with international safety standards. Whether you are a precast component manufacturer, construction party or design unit, this product can provide reliable protection for the project and significantly reduce risks and costs.
Utility Lift Anchor Description:
The Utility Anchor is a versatile and economical insert for lifting and holding precast concrete elements. The ease of installation and high safe working load are some of the many benefits of this insert.
Utility Lifting anchors are designed and engineered to safely and efficiently lift and position concrete components during production, storage, transport, and installation. All anchors are manufactured from high-quality, high-strength steel, and are designed to meet OSHA 4 to 1 Safety Factor requirements. It is important to note that in some cases the anchor does not reach full capacity in lower-strength concretes. Concrete strengths of 0 to 3,500 psi are recommended to develop indicated anchor-safe working loads. The safe working loads displayed in the tables on the catalog pages are applicable for any directional loading.
Main functions
Lifting and handling: used for demoulding, handling, loading, transportation of precast concrete components, as well as unloading and installation at the construction site.
Multi-purpose: In addition to lifting, it can also be used as a pulling tool, such as adjusting and positioning components at the construction site.
Feature of Utility Lift Anchor:
• High strength - up to 24,000 Ibs.SWL
• No special lifting hardware required
• Uses a standard hook or clevis
• Easy to install and use
• Utilizes reusable 90° and 45° polyurethane recess plugs
• Eliminates "'through holes" in the precast element
• An economical and versatile system- applicable to any precast concrete element

The design of Utility Anchor fully considers the full life cycle requirements of precast concrete:
Production stage: fast demoulding and in-plant transportation to shorten the production cycle.
Transportation stage: firmly fix the components to reduce the risk of displacement during transportation.
On-site installation: as a towing point, it supports precise lifting and temporary fixation.
Special environment: suitable for working conditions with concrete strength of 2,100~3,500 psi, covering most engineering needs.
Installation precautions
Installation angle: The anchor should be installed perpendicular to the concrete surface.
Lifting direction: The opening of the hook or shackle should be opposite to the force direction to avoid contact with the concrete.
Minimum edge distance: Avoid installation at thin edges to prevent concrete spalling.
