The Shuttering Magnet of Side Rods (with side rod magnet box) is a switchable permanent magnetic fixture specifically designed to "hold" side forms in place in precast concrete plants. Its core consists of a strong NdFeB magnet, a steel shell, and one (or two) welded side rods. The side rods are threaded with M12/M16/M20 threads and can be hooked directly into the slots of steel, wood, or aluminum side forms. Pressing the top button closes the magnetic circuit, instantly generating a vertical suction force of 450-2500 kg, firmly securing the side form to the steel formwork table. A light flick of the button with a crowbar disconnects the magnetic circuit, allowing the entire form to be moved to the next mold section—without any bolts, welds, or holes.
