What is precast concrete formwork? It refers to prefabricated concrete slabs, wall panels, or three-dimensional components (such as stairs and balconies) in a controlled factory environment. These components typically have pre-embedded reinforcing bars, pipes, and even doors, windows, and insulation layers. Once transported to the construction site, workers simply hoist and assemble them like building blocks, and finally pour concrete at the joints to form a complete building structure. This efficient method is being widely used in various fields:

 

1. Residential Buildings: From Affordable Housing to High-End Apartments

* Modular Construction: This is the most typical application of prefabricated formwork. Entire walls, floors, bathrooms, and even entire rooms can be prefabricated in factories. * Industrial Plants: Precast frame columns and roof beams are standard features in large factory buildings, enabling rapid construction and early production.

* Sound Barriers: Highly efficient sound barriers along highways are mostly made of precast concrete slabs or components.

* Landscape Features: Precast cement bricks, flower beds, tree pits, etc., are highly favored in modern landscape design due to their quick installation and diverse styles.

 

Why precast formwork? The overwhelming advantages of precast formwork and its widespread adoption are no accident; it brings tangible benefits:
